As much as I love my Once Upon a Legacy and the Charming Family, I miss just playing The Sims. Not obsessing over the pictures for modeling comps or a story; just playing the game and seeing what happens. And there is no better way to do that than with the ISBI Challenge. As an added challenge for this legacy I want to go through all LTW’s and careers (or at least as many as I can before I get bored). I have never played the ISBI Challenge before, so let’s see what happens.
I wanted to start this challenge in one of my favorite worlds; Roaring Heights. Now, let’s get to know more about Noah Moore.
This handsome fella with the dorky smile is Noah Moore. Noah likes orange, mac and cheese, and kids music. His LTW is to be a Rock Star. Say hello to the readers, Noah.
Noah: Hello to the readers, Noah.
Cheesy jokes aside, it’s time to see where you will be living.
Noah: Whyyyyyy? This can’t be it. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
Okay, stop being overly dramatic. The house isn’t that bad.
I know that there are some amazing creators in the Sims Community who can create lots and houses that can rival the Taj Mahal. And I know that I am not one of those people. So, poor Noah gets stuck with this. But on the other hand, most legacy founders don’t even start with four walls, so just remember it could always be worse!!
Noah: Where’s the rest of it?
Just wait until you see the view.
Noah: Okay, I can get use to this.
Don’t get too use to it. I didn’t start this legacy just so you could just stare out your window all day. Let’s go meet some townies!
I sent Noah out on the town to meet the people. I thought that Noah could help get the party started by mixing a few drinks. He had other ideas.
Noah: That coffee maker is conspiring against me!
Noah needed to get away from the evil coffee maker as quickly as I could. He ran into the café next door. And that is when he saw her.
I know that I am fan girling out right now, but it’s MAY WEST!! Noah took one look at her and I could tell that she was The One!!
For anyone who doesn’t know about Mae West, she was an American actress who pushed the boundaries of sexual independence versus censorship. She has some of the best quotes ever. Some of my favorites are:
- “Whenever I’m caught between two evils, I take the one I’ve never tried”,
- “You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough”, or
- “It’s not the men in my life that count, it’s the life in my men”
This is a very short bio and I’m afraid it doesn’t do her justice. I suggest you Google her right now. In the meantime, I need to make sure that Noah doesn’t do anything stupid to blow this.
Noah: Don’t worry. I know exactly what will impress May.
Wow, real smooth Casanova.
Ohmygawd. She is as crazy as you are! You need to marry this sim. Marry her right now!!
Noah: Told you it would work.
Noah and May hit it off instantly. They made faces at each other, and got to know each other better. Noah talked about his new home. May showed him a funny cat video. Then their interactions became more flirty. Noah talked about the monsters in his kitchen sink, while May shared that she is unemployed. Romantic, isn’t it?!
Noah eventually asked May out on an official date. Bourdelle’s Bistro is one of the most scenic, yet expensive, places in Roaring Heights. And it is the perfect spot for their first date.
I don’t know if this happens to other people, but when my sims go on a date to the bistro they usually end up picking different tables to eat their food at. But not Noah and May. I was excited that they wanted to sit at the same table. I just don’t understand why both Noah and May felt the need to sit at the same seat.
May: Umm, hello?! A little help here!
Noah: Sorry, I was here first.
May eventually found another seat at the other end of the patio that over looked the bridge. By that time Noah was already done eating his firecracker shrimp. I was determined to have the couple spend at least five minutes together on their date, so Noah patiently watched May eat her cheese plate. He would be borderline creepy if he didn’t have that adorably smitten look on his face.
It was getting late, and May was about to leave. But not without a goodbye kiss first.
This is also where I leave you. Will Noah see May again? Will Noah get over his fear of the evil coffee maker? Will Noah actually get a job? These questions and more will be answered next time! And as always, have a great day or night depending on when you are reading this.
An ISBI challenge sounds so amazing! I already love Noah, he’s a very funny sim (and did I mention a cutie too? Lol)!! Let’s hope his flirty trait won’t interfere with his plans to marry that lovely lady (or… let’s hope it does)!! 😁

Yay!! My first comment! **throws confetti**
I needed to take a break from OUaL, just to clear my head and try to figure out where I wanted to take my story. I started playing a new game, and Noah was born.

I can understand the break thing, I’ve been feeling that lately too..! And, like you, I’ve been thinking to start something more casual – like an asylum challenge 😈
Noah seems like a very fun sim to play! ❤ I look forward to reading his adventures!

The asylum challenge is pretty fun. It is more laid back versus some other challenges that have a million rules.

This is so cute! I know exactly what you mean about posing and getting screenshots and not playing the game! Can’t wait for more of the Moore Legacy,😁

I am so glad you like it. Thank you.
I was stuck with my legacy, and I needed to get back to why I started it in the first place. And how I fell in love with the Sims way back when. I created Noah for something else. I stuck him in Roaring Heights, and the ISBI was born.
Thank you for your support and nice comment.

I, too, am guilty of story-driven game play, so I know exactly what you mean. Funnily enough, I DID play on Sunday and it wasn’t nice since my game decided not to handle CAS and it never loaded from there. Uh.
But this is a great idea! I already love Noah and can’t wait to see what he will be up to.

Thank you for your constant support. You are too sweet. 😁
I was in a space where I was getting overwhelmed and frustrated with the lack of progress. I had hit a creative brick wall where my story had stopped being fun. I needed to remind myself why I started OUaL in the first place. One thing lead to another, and here we are!

Giving you “constant support” is must a pleasure. I absolutely love you as a friend on here.
My story has been and will always be just a story. Plus I am close to believing that I can no longer get pure satisfaction from just playing. I like having control over everything as a control freak I can easily confess to being. Quite worrying that I am similar to Sam in that, haha. But yeah, even I I wanted, I don’t have time to actually play the game and still publish chapters on time.

Noah’s lil bow tie is ADORABLE. And cool, because bow ties are cool 😉
I was about to ask how you got West in your game but I guess she’s a townie in Roaring Heights? Being skint and cheap, I have never experienced this ‘hood!
I totally feel you with needing to just play the game. I thought I was bored of it, unless I was telling a story, but since I’ve got back into my freeplay legacy (the one I post on tumblr) I’ve had a great time (And making ridiculous captions to make myself giggle is an obvious bonus). And there’s actually so much to do in the game so I’m sure you’ll have a blast – and with such a cute sim who can blame you :3

You are correct. May is a townie. And don’t tell anyone, but I got the world on a free content site.
And making people giggle with my silly captions is always a bonus!! 🙂

I’ve been following this little blog of yours for a while and I thought it was about time I read as well. I like Noah – he’s super cute with his little bow tie 😀

Thank you. I instantly fell in love with my adorkable little Noah, and I am so happy to see that others have as well.
Thank you taking the time to leave a comment. You are too kind. 🙂

Mae West was one tough cookie, Noah certainly hit the jackpot there. Gotta love neurotic sims and their constant freakouts! Also, they have matching bows. 🙂

May West is one of my favorite townies of all time. Noah better not doing anything to screw this up!!
And I never noticed until you pointed it out; they DO have matching bows!! Hahaha I love it.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. You are too sweet!!
